The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolences to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia in connection with the death of civilians as a result of the terrorist attack in the subway in St. Petersburg.

The note says, in particular:

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia received news of the terrible terrorist attack in the subway in St. Petersburg, which resulted in the death of civilians, with a feeling of deep sorrow.

We express our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wish the speedy recovery to all the victims. We share the pain of loss with all citizens of Russia. We grieve together with you."
