The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba.

The message reads: “Dear Inal Batuvich. I congratulate you on your appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia!

The Republic faces important tasks to strengthen its international positions, consolidate regional stability and security.

The Russian side will continue to provide all-round assistance in achieving these goals."

Inal Ardzinba was appointed to the position of the Minister of Foreign Affairs by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia on November 17, 2021.
