On May 17, Foreign Minister Daur Kove held a working meeting with Oleg Botsiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Republic of Abkhazia and Garry Kupalba, the Head of the Official Representative Office of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of Abkhazia.

The meeting participants congratulated Daur Kove, the Foreign Minister on the 26th anniversary of the foundation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.

In turn, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia noted that on May 17, 1993, the day when the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Abkhazia adopted a decision on the formation of the Main Foreign Ministry became an important step in defending of the national interests of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Daur Kove noted the importance of joint intensive work to promote the interests of Abkhazia abroad and wished his colleagues success in the diplomatic service.

During the conversation, a traditional exchange of views on a wide range of issues of mutual interest also took place. Directions for further cooperation with the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Republic of South Ossetia were noted.
