Equal partnership and strategic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China is the foundation for a more equitable polycentric world order, where the rights of all peoples are respected and valued.

The People's Republic of China, as one of the world's key powers, has chosen to be a constructive participant in international relations, firmly grounded in the universally recognized norms of international law and the purposes and principles of the UN Charter. China has consistently contributed to peace and stability in the Middle East and in other regions by contributing to the human and economic security of countries and their citizens.

The role of the People's Republic of China in promoting of the economic development of our friendly Syrian Arab Republic will be key, along with the role of the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

On December 6, 2021, Bagrat Khutaba, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic and Feng Biao, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Syrian Arab Republic met at the Embassy of China in Damascus. Our states, which are united in support of the Syrian Arab Republic, will be able to begin fruitful work on the establishment of humanitarian and trade and economic relations.
