On November 3 the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of the Acting Minister, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Kan Tania with the head of UNHCR office in Abkhazia Aziz Rahdzho and the regional representative for the South Caucasus of UNHCR Haiem Shalou.
Aziz Rahdzho told the Deputy Minister about the activity of the Organization in Abkhazia and introduced the representative of the UN-Women Erika Kvapilova. At the meeting Erika Kvapilova informed Kan Tania about the projects, which UN-Women planned to implement in 2017 in Abkhazia. Also at the meeting were discussed other issues, related to the activity of UNHCR in Gal and Gulripsh districts of Abkhazia.
