On October 28, at the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia was held a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Kan Taniya and the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Volga Federal District Vladimir Litvinchuk and the Chairman of the exchanges and cooperation association "Russia - Eastern Europe - Central Asia" Ge Dzhili.
At the meeting were discussed plans to create a joint working group on economic, humanitarian and cultural cooperation of representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia and the PRC, as well as the creation of the health center at the children's clinic in Sukhum.
In addition, Kan Taniya and Vladimir Lytvynchuk discussed issues related to the forthcoming visit to Sukhum of the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev and the head of the Chuvash Republic M.V. Ignatev. The sides outlined the plans for the near future, and discussed other issues of mutual interest.
