According to the press-service of the Defense Ministry of Abkhazia on November 16 in the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Abkhazia was held a meeting of the Defense Minister, General of the Army Mirab Kishmariya with Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Vataman.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Official Representative Office of PMR in Abkhazia Garry Kupalba, Deputy of the RA Minister of Defense.

At the meeting, they talked about friendship and cooperation between the two countries and, in particular, between the Defense Ministries of Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie.

The Minister of Defense awarded the Plenipotentiary of the Representative Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of Abkhazia Alexander Vataman the Medal of the Ministry of Defense "for the maintenance of peace in Abkhazia."

In turn, Alexander Vataman thanked for warm reception and assured the participants of the meeting about the continued support of contacts with Ministries and Departments of Pridnestrovie and Abkhazia.

General of the Army Mirab Kishmariya congratulated Garry Kupalba with assigning to him the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Class II and awarded the medal of the Ministry of Defense.
