On February 9, the LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky allowed himself a number of incorrect statements addressed to the Republic of Abkhazia on the Russian TV channel "Russia 1".

The public of Abkhazia knows the value of such statements by Mr. Zhirinovsky, and sees them as an indispensable attribute of political positioning of the LDPR leader.

We leave on the conscience of V.V. Zhirinovsky's these emotional statements that do not require a political assessment. We do not doubt that such attacks will not affect the friendly relations between Abkhazia and Russia, and will not influence the character of the Abkhaz-Russian strategic partnership.
