During a working visit to Moscow, the Foreign Minister Daur Kove visited the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation.
The Foreign Minister of Abkhazia met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation Igor Akhba.
At the meeting were discussed issues of bilateral Abkhaz-Russian relations, as well as further working plans of the Embassy.
Daur Kove also met with the staff of the Embassy. Noting the success of the diplomatic mission, the Foreign Minister of Abkhazia talked about the meetings held in Moscow and spoke about the upcoming round of the Geneva Discussions.
Igor Akhba reported on the activation of cooperation of the Embassy with the Russian regions, emphasizing the interest of the parties in the economic and cultural cooperation, as well as in expanding contacts with the diplomatic missions accredited in the Russian Federation.
