On February 9, 2021, Zaur Gvadjava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of the Nuncio of the Pope, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, His Holiness Aldo Giordano, participated in a video conference of heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The video conference of the diplomatic corps was devoted to welcoming of the incoming ambassadors and heads of international organizations (Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov, Russian Ambassador, Sebastian Michelle, Bolivian Ambassador, Paolo Bayadelli, PAHO representative, Andrey Molchan, Belarusian Ambassador, Iman Idi, Indonesian Ambassador, Juan Fernandez Trigo, Spanish Ambassador, Robert Schudeboom, Dutch Ambassador and Alexis Boa, FAO representative) and the departing Ambassadors (Peter Grohmann, United Nations Resident Coordinator and Andrew Keith Soper, British Ambassador to Venezuela).

More than 40 heads of diplomatic missions participated in the videoconference.
