We have paid attention to the comments and estimations, which appeared in various Russian mass media concerning detention of the citizen A.R. Avidzba by law enforcement bodies of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to Alexander Vataman, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR on the occasion of  the 13-th anniversary of signing of the Decree about establishment of the Official Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic.

Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia congratulated Alexei Dvinyanin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Abkhazia on his birthday.

Bagrat Khutaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic met with Asghar Mirzai, Secretary General of the Joint Iranian-Syrian Chamber of Commerce.

On 3 March, 2021 Irakli Tuzhba, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, held a meeting with the Co-Chairmen of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasia - with Toivo Klaar, the European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Annika Söder, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office in the South Caucasus, and Azat Lachinyan, the Political Affairs Officer of the Office of the United Nations Representative to the Geneva Discussions. Lasha Avidzba, Arthur Gagulia and Madina Shamba, the Abkhaz Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials and Geneva Discussions participants also participated in the meeting.

On March 3, 2021, a working meeting was held between, the Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation Daur Kove and Sergei Lavrov in Moscow. During the meeting a Plan of Consultations was signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for 2021-2022.

On March 2, 2021 Daur Kove, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia arrived in Moscow on a working visit.

On February 24, the first meeting of the new commission on delimitation of the state border and delimitation of maritime spaces between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia. 

On February 23, within the framework of order of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Government, Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia made inspection of readiness of schools to resume educational process in conditions of risk of spread of new coronavirus infection COVID-19.
