On June 8, 2023, in Caracas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Zaur Gvadzhava, at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Venezuela Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov, took part in a solemn event dedicated to the Day of Russia.

From May 29 to June 9, 2023, advanced training courses were held for employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia under the Office of Professional Retraining in International Relations of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On May 18, 2023 Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia attended a reception at the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Nicaragua in the Republic of Abkhazia in honor of the 128-th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding national hero of Augusto Sandino, the Republic of Nicaragua.

On May 18, 2023, a working meeting of the Heads of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia and Nicaragua was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.

On May 17, 2023, a series of events took place dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.

As part of monitoring of the implementation of projects and programs of international non-governmental organizations and UN Agencies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia requested a meeting with the head of the office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Abkhazia. In response to this request, a letter was received with "a proposal to consider alternative forms of providing of the necessary information, rather than a meeting at the political level."

On April 29, 2023, Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia took part in the "Global Conference on Multipolarity" in the online format.

On April 4-5, 2023, Geneva hosted the 57th round of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasus, which was attended by representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia, Georgia, the Russian Federation and the United States under the co-chairmanship of the UN, the EU and the OSCE.

On April 5, 2023, a solemn ceremony of presenting credentials by Alkhas Kvitsinia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation will be held in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba went on a working visit to Moscow to discuss urgent issues of Abkhaz-Russian interstate cooperation.

On March 29, at the invitation of the Embassy of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Inar Ladaria, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua, took part in an event dedicated to the 144th anniversary of Sea Day.

On March 30, Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation met with Irakli Tuzhba, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia at the Russian Foreign Ministry. From the Abkhaz side Alkhas Kvitsinia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation also attended the meeting.
